Bellsons installed a number of Samsung air conditioning systems to a commercial property in Old Street London. Their work is exceptional, good attention to detail and lovely to people to work with / for. Over the past decade, I have entrusted Anthony and his team to manage the M&E aspects for a number my projects, both commercial and residential. Most recently, they undertook a comprehensive project involving the entire installation of new electrical wiring, air conditioning, heat recovery systems, together with solar PV at a commercial warehouse development in London, significantly enhancing its energy performance. At EPIC group we own and manage a portfolio of commercial properties in London (and other locations in Europe). We have been working with Anthony West and the team from Bellsons on commercial projects in London since January 2022, and have appointed them to carry out all of our refurbishment projects since. Over the years, we have worked with various construction and design teams, large and small, on numerous development and refurbishment projects. With some we had good experience and with others less so. What makes Anthony and his team at Bellsons stand out, in my view, is: Problem solving – they have always came up with intelligent and economically effective solutions to any problem that came up (e.g., water leaks, fire stopping, building control matters, various technical challenges, cost engineering…). They have always find a smart way to solve the problem. Quality of work – while the majority of our properties are offices, our portfolio also include 5 stars hotels (ownership, development and management), which makes us highly sensitive to finishing details and quality of workmanship. The quality of work Bellsons delivered in our office refurbishment projects matches the quality we expect in high end hotels and residential projects. Always impressive. Electrical, lighting and M&E Design – In all our projects, Bellsons carried out the design work in house. Their design has always been of high technical standard, but at the same time also financially efficient and aesthetically attractive. We had no need to appoint our own lighting and M&E design teams for any the projects we worked on together, and therefore managed to shorten project timelines and reduce cost. Positive and quick reaction to change – in many projects we change the original design/ add requirements as the project progresses. Bellsons have always been willing to accommodate changes, and managed to find a way to integrate changes efficiently.
